The Mavericks looked a little flat and as a result, their 12 game winning streak is now history. The Mavs didn’t shoot well (39.2% from the floor) and they got out-rebounded 53-39 by the Wizards. To their credit the Mavs did fight back in the second half after being punished 59-41 in the first half.

Can’t blame the loss on Dirk Nowitzki who scored 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. Devin Harris (14 points), Jerry Stackhouse (14 points, 6 assists) and Devean George (14 points) each helped out on the offense for the Mavericks.

The Mavericks fell to 12-5 on the season with this loss.
