If it were any other team I would probably think that the Mavericks still had a good chance to pull this out, but Don Nelson just owns them. The Warriors might get bounced in 5 games in the second round, but they are just dominating the defending Western Conference champions at this point. I’m glad to see it happen too; my Heat won’t be around to do it to them again this year.
Maybe Mark Cuban is feeling bad that he took a dump on old Don now. At least Mark will be able to focus on his other business ventures in a few more days. Dallas Mavericks, you are the weakest link, GOODBYE!
The Mavericks blew it on April 17th when they decided to rest their starters against the Warriors who pounded them 111-82! The Warriors had to win that game to make the playoffs. The very next day the Mavericks played their starters against the Sonics and beat them 106-75! So I place the blame on the Front Office and Avery Johnson for horrible judgment.
